Pro Fishsim matches run from Midnight GMT Saturday to Midnight GMT Saturday, the match page will automatically update on completion of the match to show the new venue for the following week together with any tagged fish details.

Important - although match dates will show a start and finish date all catches must be caught on the Real Date in order for them to be accepted on submission.

Matches will run for 20 weeks with accolades awarded thereafter.

Once a fish has been submitted to a match then the same computer has to be used for that weeks match.

All methods of fishing are now allowed ie Float, Ledger, Fly and Lure including the use of 2 rods.

In order for fish to be entered into your catchlog file you must click LOG when fish caught and not close as normal.

To submit fish to the site, use the Browse button on the match page to locate your Fishsim folder, select the file Catchlog.dat (may just show as catchlog), click Ok, this closes the box and retuns you to the match page then chose Click to Submit.

You do not have to submit all fish in one go, you can submit fish as you catch them if you want, the site and scripts will select the fish it wants from the various time zones to update your catches.

League table is updated automatically at the end of each match.

Points awarded are:

Maximum points	= 100
Big fish bonus	= 5
Big sector bonus	= 3
Tag fish bonus	= 5
Min tag fish bonus	= 3 (+1 each day)

Tagged fish caught do not add to your total weight

On submitting a fish you can then click your name in the table to display your biggest fish caught in the time zones together with other relevant data for match.

Time Zones are

00:00 - 03:59

04:00 - 07:59

08:00 - 11:59

12:00 - 15:59

16:00 - 19:59

20:00 - 23:59

Do you have to catch fish in all the time slots.

The idea is to catch your biggest fish in each of the time slots but if you only manage to catch in say 3 of them you still get points for them.

Does only 1 fish count per time slot,

Yes but you can better your catch as many times as you want until match ends so if you submit a 12 oz fish and then later in week get a 1lb fish when this is submitted it will update your catch for that time zone.

If you have to catch 1 fish in each slot do i have to get up at 3am.

I take it that we fish in real time is that correct i.e set fishsim to real time.or do you set the time for these time slots.

No you have to fish real date not real time so time can be set to any time you want

Is it only the 5 biggest fish that count or Species. I see the tagged fish is a Chub i understand that bit as it has to be the actual size caught to get the points.

Biggest fish or should I say biggest you can get in the week

I will only be able to fish maybe Sat, Sun, Fri night and Sat again does that mean I am at a disadvantage.

No because you may get 5 big fish in first sitting that may not get beat all week.
